What a Relief!

My placenta previa has been preventing me from feeling movements from the baby.  So I know in my mind that everything is OK, but it still makes me nervous not to feel the baby.  I was thinking about this stage during my pregnancy with Joshua.  I remember having my sonogram at 18 weeks and being able to feel him squirm and go crazy.  With this baby I have possibly felt a bump here or a thump there but it is so hard to tell if it is the baby or momma.  Then this morning I woke up early and was laying on my side.  As I rolled onto my back, you could clearly see the baby bulge on top.  Apparently the way the baby and I were laying something was different and I was able to feel the baby move.  There were lots of shoves and pushes.  I had to laugh, someone was a little uncomfortable.  I laid there forever afraid to move because I knew my little one would disappear into me again and I wouldn't be able to feel much.  It was like a short glimpse into what was going on inside.  It was so refreshing.  I felt such a connection with my baby as he/she pushed and poked me trying to move around.  One week from today we will get to see this precious baby through a sonogram and find out gender and where the placenta lies and if it has moved.  I am so excited.  This morning was such a relief.  Hopefully it will hold me over until I start feeling more movements!

So I have been whining and crying about our car for a while now.  It seems like everything is going wrong and the more we fix, the more that goes wrong.  Nate was able to fix some stuff, but it is turning into a money pit!  Some of Nate's family and friends who own and work at a car dealership decided they wanted to help us get into a car.  After watching for us for a while they found a car that fits our needs.  We were surprised at how nice the car is-and it runs!!  It is a 2003 Nissan Murano.  It has so many bells and whistles that make it so fun.  It is just such a relief to have a vehicle that is reliable.  We are praising God for orchestrating this whole purchase and want to thank all those involved in helping us and praying  for us.  We greatly appreciate each and every one of you!!
